Interface IVideoEncoderFormat

interface IVideoEncoderFormat
Extends com.amazon.apmf.IStandard Interface to configure video encoder format.

Methods

setForceKeyFrame()

void setForceKeyFrame(bool keyFrame)
Forces the transform to generate a Keyframe. A KeyFrame (or I Frame) doesn’t need P or B frames to decode. This method can also be called for dynamic configuration.

Parameters

keyFrame
bool — Required true to enable, false to disable.

setForceIDRFrame()

void setForceIDRFrame(bool idrFrame)
Forces the transform to generate IDR frame. An IDR-frame doesn’t not need P or B frame to decode and also prevents p-frames and b-frames from referencing frames that occurred before the IDR-frame. This method can also be called for dynamic configuration.

Parameters

idrFrame
bool — Required true to enable, false to disable.

setKeyFrameInterval()

void setKeyFrameInterval(i32 interval)
Sets the keyframe interval. A keyframe is a complete image which does not need any P or B frame to decode. This method can also be called for dynamic configuration.

Parameters

interval
i32 — Required The interval for the keyframes, encoder output one keyframe after the programmed interval.

setIDRFrameInterval()

void setIDRFrameInterval(i32 interval)
Sets the IDR frame interval. An IDR-frame prevents p-frames and b-frames from referencing frames that occurred before the IDR-frame. This method can also be called for dynamic configuration.

Parameters

interval
i32 — Required The interval for the idr-frame, encoder output one idr-frame after the programed interval.
